Early
County is a place filled with history. It contains
artifacts, relics, and memorabilia from past generations that
shed light on the lives of previous Early County citizens
and their culture. History is an important defining
characteristic of this great place.
1818-1880
Includes
the beginnings of Early County and Blakely, the Old South, Civil
War, Reconstruction, and the New South.
1881-1940
Includes
World War I, Post World War I, Women's Suffrage, the Auditorium,
Silent Movies, and other memorabilia from Early County in the
early 1900's.
1941-Present
Includes
World War II, the Post War Years, as well as Early County in the
50's through the 90's to the present.
