Early County is located in the southwestern corner of Georgia.  Its county seat is Blakely.  The county is bordered on the west by Alabama , on the south by Miller and Seminole Counties on the north by Clay County, and on the east by Calhoun and Baker Counties.  The Chattahoochee River is an important geographical  landmark, which brings trade, recreation, and beauty to the citizens.  Early County hosts a population of approximately 13,000.  Although many resources are available to the residents, the real treasures in our county are our people.
