Volunteers & Chaperones
Volunteers and chaperones are a valuable resource and provide positive experiences for our students.
In order to serve as a volunteer or chaperone, you must be placed on the ECSS Volunteer List.
Persons volunteering with ECSS who are not full/half-time staff or GNETS must complete ECSS Volunteer Training as outlined below.
New Volunteers or Chaperones
If you have never been on the ECSS Volunteer list before, contact Tammy Storey to set up a time to complete the New Volunteer Training Session.

Returning Volunteers
Complete the following steps if it has been less than 5 years since your last Criminal Background Check.
To sign up for the 2024-2025 ECSS Volunteer Chaperone list:
1 - Review the Mandated Reporter Slide Show here.
2 - Complete the 2024-2025 Volunteer Interest & Agreement Form here.
If it has been 5 years or more since your last Criminal Background Check, you will need to contact Tammy Storey at 229-723-3746 x8203 or tstorey@early.k12.ga.us.
